For several days, and on several occasions, I have sat down to wonder what is happening to the Church of God, the Body of Christ? As a Minister to the Body of Christ, I am so restless in the spirit, seeing the people of God, living in fear, sorrow, and helpless. Majority of the brethren, are living in depression. So many others are confused about the FAITH, and have given up. The question is what happened? Where did we miss it? The Body of Christ is ridden with sickness, beaten down with all manners of burden, what is going on?
In my time of communion and meditation with the Lord, I heard Him say to me…”The Problem is the Message is wrong” that word hit so, so strong in the spirit, I jumped to do scripture search. And there it is, I found the answer:
Act 5:42
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
This is why the Church of God, the Body of Christ, in our generation seems to be POWERLESS! Our message is wrong!
The early Church was a Church had and walked in so much power, why? Their Teaching and Preaching was Jesus Christ! The Bible says daily, and in every house, they cease NOT to teach and preach CHRIST JESUS. But today, what do we have? All kinds of teachings and preaching, not about JESUS. it’s a shame!
Look at what Apostle Paul says to the church at Corinth:
1 Corinthians 2:2
2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Today, most of the messages preached are about money, comfort, demons, witches, covens, breakthroughs, and other debased things. And Yet, the Church of God, is daily beaten down. Why did Paul determined to know nothing else among them, but only to preach Jesus Christ? Look at the answer the Holy Spirit gave:
Rom 1:16
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Can you see the message and preaching of Jesus Christ? It empowers! The Gospel of the preaching of Jesus Christ, is the POWER of God. Beloved, the Church of God is made powerless by the enemies of Christ by the kind of teachings and preachings he has been able to successfully thrown at God’s servants to feed the people with.
Accept Jesus NOW and turn a new life! Say no to Homosexuality, Adultery, Lesbianism and other degenerate activities. You need Jesus so that you won’t perish in Hell. And if you have been taught and you actually believed the lie that there will not be RAPTURE (the catching up) of BELIEVERS to meet the Lord Jesus, the you are to be pitied.
Rapture will happen whether you believe it or not!
If the Church must walk again in power, the message must be Jesus: His Death, Burial, and Resurrection,
For He died for you, resurrected to settle you with God the Father. If you reject him you will perish in Hell!
